Dear Friends,

This is your personal invitation to join TNABA for this year's 6th Annual
Adaptive Sports Conference on October 17th, held on the beautiful campus of
the Tennessee School for the Blind in Nashville TN. This year's conference
has been modified from past events to offer longer and more concentrated
sessions, giving you more time to experience each activity! 

The TNABA Sports after Blindness Adaptive Sports Conference is unique and
unlike any other conference you have ever attended. This event gives
attendees the opportunity to experience hands on, the adaptations of sports
and recreational activities for those living with blindness. One of the
unique things about this conference is that participants with sight are
blindfolded during hands on interactive breakout sessions to get the full
effect, while visually impaired attendees learn new opportunities that allow
them to live a healthier, more exciting tomorrow.

This conference is great especially for any individuals who are blind or
visually impaired and their families, while offering valuable resources for
Physical Educators, teachers of the visually impaired, coaches, community
sports coordinators VA Staff, OT & PT students and professionals, and anyone
interested in gaining essential tools to create a more inclusive
environment. Professional Development hours are available, and in year's
past students have received clinical/extra credit hours for their
attendance. The event is Free for TNABA members, Veterans, VA Staff, and
anyone with a visual disability. All other attendees can enjoy the entire
days activities for just $20. There is Overnight accommodations on Friday
Evening, for those that need it on a first come first serve bases. 

Through gracious support, through the Veterans Adaptive Sports Program,
TNABA is proud to offer this year's conference FREE of Charge to any
disabled Veteran and VA Support Staff. Assistance with Travel cost are also
available, but you must register fast.
