Good question. You raise some of the same questions I would raise.

Subject: [Sportsandrec] So, I have to ask

Has anyone tried to yoga mat for the visually impaired? I'm not usually a big fan of things for "the visually impaired. ". For all I know this is like the blind fork or the blind toilet. I'm sure nobody who is blind really needs those things. I've looked at the yoga mat wondering if it is something that would help me with the more subtle movements in the spacing that I sometimes mess up when doing yoga poses. The fact that this mat cost $89 is another reason why I would not just buy it for the sake of buying it. I've decided to make yoga a serious practice, so I really want to make good use of all the tools that would help me to do this. (I'm still going through all the Blind Alive info.) Thoughts?
