Hello all,

Do any swimmers or triathletes use an activity tracker? If so, I am
wondering which one. So far, my research goes something like.

Fitbit Charge HR. Water resistant but not waterproof. No support for swim
workouts.

Garmin swim: Does swim lap detection very well, physical buttons on the
watch should make tracking possible, auto stroke detection means you
shouldn't have to go into visual menus. Downside is that swim is all it
tracks IE no daily metrics. Also, you have to set the pool length so no
support for open-water swims. That needs a gps module.

Apple watch: Fully accessible but not able to effectively track workouts.
Not waterproof so no swim support.

Moov Now: No display so should be accessible, advertises swim support.
Reviews suggest that swim support is not good, often misreports laps and no
way to pause a workout with the phone in the locker room.

The multisport garmin watches (vivoactive), polar loop etc do exactly what I
want but aren't accessible. So I am curious what others are using. Quite a
few people I know have fitbits but I don't think they are using them to
analyse their workouts.

Shane
