Hi All,

Hope this message finds you well! My name is Justin Young and I'm
from the Rochester, New York area. I work for an organization called
the Center for Disability Rights which is associated with the New York
State Independent Living Center network. I'm not sure if anyone on
this mailing list would be able to assist, but I thought I'd reach
out. In the Winter of 2013 and Spring of 2014, staff members of our
organization visited three Casino and Race Track facilities in hopes
to gain a better sense of their overall accessibility options for
Blind patrons. Unfortunately they have little to no options to assist
Blind patrons. So it was our goal to figure out a way for Blind
patrons to use these Electronic Gaming Devices independently.

I was wondering if any on this list know of or have used fully
independently an Electronic Gaming Device found in either a Casino or
a Rasino (Casino and Race Track facility)? I have been told that the
Disability Rights attorney community wish to pursue this further, but
one of the road blocks they have is finding an expert to help the
Disability Rights Attorney network to verify making these devices
accessible wouldn't interfere with the security level of the device.

I wasn't sure if anyone on this list has also experienced this, but if
you have experiences with it, I would greatly appreciate any
suggestions you may be able to provide.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Sincerely,

Justin Young
