Blind Tenis Association with Murray Elbourn Howdy Sports and Recreation Federationists:
Murray Elbourn, currently is a Director at United States Blind Tennis Association with the marketing and grant writing portfolios as his focus. Murray works as the CEO of Amerability where the business contracts with state agencies to provide mentoring, training, workshops, courses and camp participation opportunities for agency clients with blindness and low vision. Murray Elbourn was the Chief Executive Officer at Disability Sports Australia from October 2020 through to February 2023. projects included: *Variety Activate Inclusion Sport Days *National Referral Hub *Sports Incubation with NRL, AFL and Tennis Australia.
The United States Blind Tennis Association (USBTA) is leading the way in bringing Blind and Visually Impaired tennis to the mainstream. USBTA was founded in 2022. The organization works closely with the United States Tennis Association (nationally and locally) to bring tennis opportunities to a community that has been traditionally underrepresented. In a short time as an organization, USBTA has already conducted trainings and introduced programming in numerous states.
