Yes. I may work slowly towards cert. as a yoga instructor. I have done or studied yoga since perhaps 2010 or 2012. As with so much fitness even for the sighted but especially for us, it reuqires a good and open-midned instructor. This said, here are some ideas.
`I would recommend that, if you are totally new, do a one-on-one learning the basics. I would suggest that, even if online is your preference, start this one-on-one physically if possible.
`If you do a physical class, perhaps seek an instructor who is more as to holding the poses and breathing; rather than something fast in nature.
`When I did a weekly course at the fitness ctr. at work for a long time, I was blessed with — we all were — with an instructor who had focused on the elderly. Back then, it was not as popular for men to do yoga. I was in a weekly class at 7 A.M. with eight fellow female employees at HHS. Then, there is the dog management issue.
`Often at the YMCA in Towson, Maryland, where I belong; I will not take Izzie, as I swim a mile the pool area is incredibly humid. I will sometimes do the gentle yoga course after swimming. But when I was at CMS, I would tie-down my second and third guide dogs to a chair near some blood pressure equipment. When I took Pilot origionally into yoga with me, he tried to kiss all the ladies when they were doing downward dog. AS does Izzie when I do this at home.
Hope these comments help. Thanks.

Hello,
Do you want to have the yoga be in person or online through a video or mayb=
e a class online?
If in person, talk to the instructor after you sign up for the class before=
starting. I think if they are descriptive about the positions, you could f=
ollow it.
You might also want a brief 1:1 session with the instructor at the beginnin=
g so they can describe or show you some basic poses.
If it=E2=80=99s a live online class, you could also speak with the instruct=
or ahead of time before the class starts. They could perhaps accommodate yo=
u by a combo of describing the poses to you on the phone or record some des=
criptions and email you the audio file. They might also be willing to write=
down some descriptions of the poses with their names, if you ask. This way=
when they say downward dog, you know what it means.
Also, I think there are a series of Youtube videos from Blind Alive fitness=
that describe the yoga session.
I'll try to find those and post the links.
I am pretty sure there was already some audio described yoga videos out the=
re.
HTH,
Ashley
