for John's info,
Andrea Boccelli is an italian tenor blind and selling a lot of 
CD's.  he was fortunate to have a very very famous mentor.

my wife who is blind and a voice teacher feels he actually is a poor 
singer, and that he only got his fame because of his mentor.  his 
mentor was Luciano Paviroti (sp?).   couple of years ago Boccelli 
fell off a stage on which he was singing.

no, I an't no singer or musician and couldn't play one on TV!
