Dear STYLIST members:
RE: Fund Raising

The Division needs funding to take care of its business. Our funding comes
from several sources. Here are 3 major questions:

I. Every year we hold a donation drive where in we offer a 50-50 sharing of
the pot. Each ticket is 1 dollar and a person can purchase 6 for the price
of 5 dollars. We draw the winner on the last day of convention; you do not
need to be present to win. Here is the first of 2 questions- who would like
to purchase 1 or more tickets? Second, would you like to help us out and
sell these tickets to others?

If you are interested in purchasing 1 or more tickets, here is my address
where you could send your check and/or money order. (I would need your
return address.)


II. Are your dues paid up? Or, would you like to join and pay for the first
time? The cost is $10.00 per year. Your membership would run for 12 months
from the month that you join (pay today, April 19 and it will run from April
to April.)

III. We would accept any donation. f

.What we spend our monies on are items such as- getting Slate and Style out-
the print tape and Braille; all cost money). We pay our web master a small
yearly fee. We will need to pay this years workshop guest speaker. We have a
few operating expenses like paper, envelopes, etc. No one receives a salary
or wage. (We have dreams of some day sponsoring a monitory college
scholarship for aspiring writers.
