hi listers, anybody have a good rule of thumb for when and when not to use these words? I think, don't quote me, farther means greater distance or greater expanse, but further means that greater is measured in units. but I am confused about farthest and furthest. thanks jc Jim Canaday M.A. Lawrence, KS
