[stylist] Colonoscopy Aborted!

Hello everyone,

Lori Stayer was the member who discussed this with me privately so I'll
respond here although I'm reluctant to do so. Or better still since our
doctor only does conventional colonoscopy if he knew I had special
considerations which he knew I did he could recommended to our primary care
physician that I be referred to someone specializing in Video or Virtual
Colonoscopy procedures which to my knowledge are less invasive and do not
require the administration of sedatives eliminating the need for the I.V.
and creating less stress for someone with my issues. My time would have been
better spent working on the division Web site. Thanks again everyone for
keeping me in your prayers and thoughts.

Peter Donahue

Peter, During one of my hospitalizations when I received a lot of medication
via IV, the nurse couldn't access any veins in my hand or arm. She was able
to access a vein in my thigh. Preparation for collonoscopy is a real pain.
If the patient has gone through so much to get ready for a test, don't you
think the staff could at least be more efficient at carrying out the
procedure? Judith
