[stylist] What comes first?...the story or the call for submission

Hi Amy and I'm glad you joined the list!
appreciate the compliment on my humor, its worth every penny you paid for it!
I'm just starting to write fiction, so honestly there are all these
stories pushing at the edges of my mind, trying to get out. the
story I just completed was not one of these mind-mulch stories. it
was the result of Lori's challenge, so that one you could say I wrote
for requirement.
and, please call me Jim, otherwise I think I'm in trouble.
