[stylist] question

Paternalism is pervasive, sometimes we don't even know its occurring. From
the airport personnel who insist we ride on the cart to the person who seems
amazed when we walk across a room without banging into a wall. Its what I
call the "You can conquer the world, but you can't cross a street" attitude,
and it has a detrimental psychological effect on many of us.

you're confusing the point. paternalism is always bad and something we
blind often suffer. circumlocution taught by these sighted professors only
serves to promote it.
I don't want or need their word game protection.
