Hey Guys just to chime in here for a minute on being blind, when I was 2 years old I lost my sight to brb; my mother taught me to explore my world, she made sure I could do for myself and made sure I had the fundamentals of a good education, reading, writing, arithmetic, Braille and she wasn't even a Federationist. I grew up thinking I could do whatever I wanted and still think that. Blindness isn't an obstacle, a challenge, a nuissance, it is a motivator for solving problems, finding ways to do things. If I had the chance to be able to see I'd probably not take it. There are things I would not want to see, things like a freight train coming at me at 42 miles an hour. NO thank you. I'll gladly stay in the dark though I don't consider my life or world to be dark. Hardly. Now, back to my regularly scheduled life.
