This is the email I got from the producer of my book. Eventually it will
be available commercially, but if any of you would like to purchase it, the
cost is $6, and I will email it to you on receipt of the check. This is a
work of fiction, approximately 120 pages, jpg format, but it should be
accessible to screen readers. If your screen reader cannot handle it, the file
can be sent as a word file. I guess you might categorize it as a Christmas
story.

Subject: kindle versus The Problem With Giving

 Hi, Denise

Can you see if the problem with Amazon can be cleared up?  Most of my
friends are blind.  But Kindle and Amazon are not allowing text to speech for
ebooks!  And even if they were, Kindle is not accessible for blind people.
There is no way I can have them go on Amazon to order the book.  If you can't
do anything, then can I have permission to sell the book myself?  I know we
have a contract, but if the book isn't truly available, then are you keeping
your end?  Or is it still available on the Longstoryshort website?  If so,
please send me the link and the method of finding it again.  I'll make
another run at having people purchase it.
