Hi Barbara,
I found this story riviting. Occasionally, I had the thought that you 
were taking on too much -- like adding the blind characters -- but I 
couldn't put it down. I found myself emotionally invested in Jen and 
John getting together and terrified that either Jen would be killed or 
some twist would land Jon with someone totally different. There is so 
much in this. I would suggest you make it into a novel or series of 
short stories and add some narrative. Really good job.
