[stylist] Fantasy and the conservative reader?

If it is not central to the plot, there is no reason to have it there.
Frankly, before I was so conservative, I read a few fantasy novels and found
the nudity and sex out of place. I don't need to be aroused every time I
pick up a book. That's what the genre of romance is there for.
If one wants sex and nudity, then write a romance. Shelly's book would be
an okay place for that. I wouldn't have been so put off by it if it had
happened before they were married because it was a romance.
