Apologies for cross-posting but I have only selected people/lists that I
believe may be able to help.

I am trying to come up with either a high-tech or low-tech way to map out a
world that I am creating for a novel. Currently, I am using yWriter (great
free program) to write and organize. This fulfills most of my needs.
However, what I am looking for now, is a way to create a map of a complex
city. I also need to be able to create interiors so that I can keep track of
some inventive features that I am including. This story has the potential to
cover more than one novel so I want to be able to go back to the map at any
point and "walk" around when I am writing scenes.

In the past, I have simply drawn a map for visual reference. Now, I am
interested in either a way to make a tactile version (but this would have to
cover more than a single sheet of braille paper) or a computer program. I
like the idea of a computer program, but I have not found anything fully
accessible to a screenreader/braille display.

Please forward this message to anyone/list that you think may be able to
help. I appreciate any and all suggestions.

Cindy
