Jo,
Funny you mention the Sword of Truth series because, due to my insomnia, I discovered a new guilty pleasure on Saturday's around 4 AM. A show called Legend of the Seeker on WGN, but I believe it is syndicated so you would have to check your local listings to find the channel and time in your area. It was created and directed by the people who did Xena Warrior Princess and Hercules, but Legend is a bit more serious which, apparently, some critics do not like. It is not a great show, and the acting is a bit melodramtic and cheesey at times, but it is fun.
Anyway, I discovered that the series is based on the Sword of truth books which I am now going to read. There are a few on BARD, but the first two are on NLS, and they are in the process of digitalizing the whole series.
By the way, why does NLS create audio versions of series out of sequence? I have found so many series that will have some of the books avaiable for download, but they apparently do not do it in order. Stupid, if you ask me.

A lot of themes and plots are happening and as the story progresses, I found myself waiting to know more.
