Sorry to inform you all, but Elizabeth Campbell sends her apology that due
to a family emergency, she will need to reschedule. Due to the more than
likelihood that not all will receive this message before the scheduled
meeting time, I plan to still have the line open and we can chat about
whatever topic people wish to bring up. As for Elizabeth, we will work out a
time to visit with her. 

 

As for March, let me tell you what has been cooking. I've been working on a
prior request by our "access technology users." Several of our division
members have voiced a need to explore what is possible, what is out there
for screen-readers and the word processing options that a writer might
benefit from knowing. Toward this end, I am arranging for us to meet with a
tag-team of 2 instructors from the NFB  Access Technology Trainers Division.
I should also say, that the NFB Krafters Division is also interested in
joining in on the call. We would cover a variety of JAWS and Office types of
questions. These instructors are versed in more than one Windows operating
systems (like Windows 7 and/or XP) and also with different versions of
Office (like 2003-2007-2010). (You will hear more about this in a few days.)
