dear Judith,
in my heart I already have written a blog I will post soon on my site
regarding the incredibly callous attempt to blame this shooting on
certain political leaders or a political movement. that was starting
even merely two hours after the shooting, before the bodies were even cool.
now it turns out the shooter had read Karl Marx, Hitler, was a heavy
pot user etc.
but most of all, his ravings were obvious to me to be from a schizophrenic.
so what kind of people must hurry to try to make political points on
bodies that aren't even cooled yet?
the democratic leadership council and many others during the years
have used the target term and symbols. even the term "campaign" has
a military/warfare connection.
Judith, you're not by yourself.
we do need to remember the primary purpose of this list is not
political, and that should equally apply to those who endorse the
right and the tea party movement, as well as those who embrace the
left and moveon.org/dailykos.
I'll send you the blog Judith offlist when I get it posted, probably
in a few days as I have a couple of other things I must write ahead of it.
Ironically, two days after the president's arizona funeral rally call
for civility, our local democratic party politicians released a
statement full of all kinds of uncivil language.
