Great intro! You may be a publishing MECKA for some of our members. You and
Mark Taylor (the guest speaker for this months "Telephone Gathering both
have the thought of being a first-stop and for some, a last stop for getting
published. And as Donna asked --- what are you open to for types of
submissions? And what length or any other criteria that a want-to-be author
would need to know about, hitting you up for common

Greetings.  My name is Justin Oldham, and I am a new member.  I'm sending 
this introduction to the NFB Writer's Division to let you know about me.



I am legally blind, with just one eye.  I'm 46 years old.  My visual acuity 
is approximately 20/400.  Long term prognosis is that I will eventually go 
entirely blind some time in my mid 60's.



I'm a full time writer and part time political commentator.  I live in 
Anchorage, Alaska.  I started Shadow Fusion Books in late 2010.  My long 
term goal is to create a publishing company that serves the blind.  I have 
five books in print, with six more on the way.  I plan on making the 
transition from writer to editor to ensure growth of my company.



I am most recently the author of "Being Legally Blind: Observations for 
Parents of Visually Impaired Children."  This book is intended to be a 
resource for parents who have just learned that their newborn son or 
daughter is visually impaired.  This product is available in both print and 
electronic formats.
