Hi Friends,
Though I do not consider myself a poet, I also don't consider a long country
walk a true success unless I've come up with a Haiku or two. It's in the 90s
today, and Hunter and I had a walk around the pond listening to our bull,
green, tree and (we think) leopard frogs setting forth their perspectives on
life. Here's what I came home muttering to myself. Thanks, Myrna, for your
interest and encouragement.
A conclave of frogs
All voicing their opinions--
"warm, wet, Good, good, good!"
June's pineapple weeds
Amidst our stoney driveway:
Parking smells so sweet!
I don't like "amidst," because I don't know that it's technically correct,
but so far that's all I got *grin*
