I've often said it is amazing how people think it is ok to touch a blind 
person when they would never consider doing it to any other stranger!

Even now friends will grab me if I'm about to hit something and I have to 
shake them off and say "That is what a cane is for."

I imagine having a dog makes people a bit less likely to touch!

Hrms, I wonder what they would think about Azrella, our pet tarantula. LOL
