And then again, if you wanted it to have a certain number of feet and lines
per stanza, you could do that to.

Hi Bridgit,
I think you answered my question. There doesn't have to be a certain number
of feet per line, then.

Thanks.

Jim,

Do you mean in my poem? Especially with nodern blank verse, you don't
necessarily have to follow any specific structure, meaning you don't
have to use so many lines before a break, and so forth and so on. I
created my poem to focus on particular words and images, seperating
lines, and stanzas, where I felt a word or image was more powerful.

It doesn't require you to have four lines per stanza, or whatever the
case may be, like in a sonnet or haiku or other poetic forms with
specific rules on lines and stanzas and meter.

Sincerely,
Bridgit Kuenning-Pollpeter

Hi Bridgit,
Did those lines break in the right places? I was trying to count how
many meters per line. Is that the right term?

Thanks.

Jim
