A Reminder to: Division and STYLIST 

RE: This coming Sunday- Free Lance Writer- as a career

 

On STYLIST, we have recently had discussion of being a free-lance writer.
With that as my guide, I have found someone who makes a living at it. So
tune in, this coming Sunday, September 25th our monthly Telephone Gathering
will feature a guest speaker who is a successful Free Lance writer. Linda
Goodspeed, is legally  blind, and was one of our special guests at the 2011
Writers' division annual business meeting, held this year at Orlando. Her
BIO follows: (She would like to know if there are special questions that she
should contemplate before the night of the talk. Thus, if you have questions
you would like her to prepare for, send them to me and I'll get them to
Linda.)

 

Guest Speaker Linda Goodspeed is a 1988 NFB scholarship winner. The
scholarship helped her finish a master's degree in journalism after she lost
her sight. Goodspeed has held several writing and editing positions at
newspapers, magazines and private organizations. She has written two books
and is currently a fulltime freelance writer. She lives in Vermont with her
daughter.
