With our growing family, we no longer purchase gifts for the adults in
the family. Each year I bake a ton of goodies for my family instead. I
bake cookies, brownies, bars, cakes, candies and other treats and
package them in a box I make myself. I only bake from scratch, so I
start in early December and freeze some of it beforehand. I also make a
white chocolate mint cheesecake for dessert. This year I also tried a
new recipe, Irish cream bars, that went over well too. I love to bake,
and my husband doesn't mind either, grin. Besides the cheesecake, his
favorites are my snickerdoodles, mint, chocolate-covered pretzels and
mint chocolate chip cookies that I make with white chocolate chips.

And it was a great Christmas this year with baby Declan, grin! He wore
his first three-piece suit for Christmas and it was super cute! I can't
believe he's four months old already!

Happy New Year to everyone.

Sincerely,
