Donna,
I am in the exact place as you, down to all the details with versions of
everything.
I am trying to finish my NFSPS entries before tackling the new system. I
will be dormant at the end of this week for a time also.
Please keep the advice you get, and so will I, though I suspect you will be
quite ahead of me.
Good luck. I will be in touch later.
I bring my old lap-top treats everyday to keep it running. I even bought a
fan for its tummy.
Jackie

Subject: [stylist] Update & OT computer question

Hi Friends,

Just wanted to let you all know that I will be a bit indisposed starting
later this week. I finally bought a new computer, and have to not only do a
lot of re-loading of files and programs, but I have to learn Windows 7 and
Office 2010. Hopefully, it will be better than using a 6-year-old machine
where the desktop routinely disappears. We tried several fixes with no
improvement, and I'm hoping this is the last of it.

Therein lies my question. For those of you using Jaws, what was your biggest
headache/happy surprise or whatever when you switched to Windows 7 and/or to
Office 2010? I'm currently using XP and Office 2003, so I'm guessing it's
quite a change. I have Jaws 12, and I'll be reviewing their tutorials on the
subjects tomorrow.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Donna
