Barbara,
Your poem is nice and gives food for thought.
Not many random word poems are great, and in fact are for the purpose of
getting a poet through a brain freeze, and into the process of just
writing.

Five Word Challenge Poem
By Barbara Hammel
I must admit that a family reunion
Was never a light affair,
For the rule of the day was to talk about--
Thus giving attention-to those not there.
Not terribly great but I can't think how to change it. And hey! I got all
five words in four lines!
Barbara
Poetry is an echo, asking a shadow to dance. -- Carl Sandburg
