I'm in the same boat. I'd love a braille display, but their sooo expensive!
Still, I might be able to get one for a present; if only I knew what to buy!
I need a demo, but the lighthouse for the blind doesn't have many models;
probably because they're expensive.
Maybe I should just have someone drive me to the national center for a visit
to the technology center.
Ah, would take an hour to get there.

Yep, my husband droveme 3 hours away to see one in person. I didn't
have confidence in the person demonstrating as they were too new to the
device, but I did eventually purchase one elsewhere. I would like to
learn about Braille displays, but will n ot buy one until I actuallyget
to see one. At least if list members gave their ideas, others would
have an idea of what is out there.
