[stylist] Writing Contest in languages other than English

The problem with having other language contests is finding judges whose ability in those languages is commensurate with the entry. I can read Spanish, for example, but can't claim any expertise in understanding or writing in it.

I, for one, am Lithuanian. I take Lithuanian school on
Saturdays.
Here are some words:
hello: labas
my: mano
yours: tavo
table: stalas

Although I like the idea of having different languages, I think
that it could just be an option in the writers contest. I speak
both Lithuanian and Spanish, but am not grammatically very good
at it as I am in English. In English I'm a lot better and enjoy
it more. So maybe for his entry Gerardo could write in Spanish
instead, and people just have a choice of writing in another
language?

Cold it be possible that we pull together, with the members of
the stylist mailing list, and see what languages everyone can
speak. Then, maybe we can find other
people who are also interested in writing in oth languages.
Could that work?

WOW what a dream that would be! If we could attract a global
wide
interest--- with quality judges and submissions in a variety of
languages..
Katieand Gerardo any ideas how we could pull that one off?
