Andy,
I am sending a delayed welcome. It is good to have you aboard. I wish you
success in having a book published.
Though I call myself a published poet, it is individual poems in various
state contest publications. Most have been in the Sandcutters" a quarterly
from Arizona Some have been in the NFSPS publications from the annual
contests, and also Pennsylvania, and one other state. I keep them in a
special notebook and it numbers about eighty-five by now. There a few
anthologies also. So far I have not been successful in getting a poetry book
accepted through the contest rout. I have not submitted to individual
magazines as yet, but may do so come late August.
I have saved all of the sources offered by this list group, plus have a
folder of magazine and small presses that I have culled from The Writer's
Magazine."
I do not know if this is of any help to you. I do find this group very
helpful and encouraging. The camaraderie is perhaps as important, if not
more so, than getting published.

Hello:
I am Adrianne, or Andi, which ever you prefer.  I just joind the list and am
looking forward to it.  I am not published but am writing a novel and hope
to someday publish it.  I write mostly historical fiction but once and a
while I will have an idea for something totally out of my normal genre. I
also love poetry and I love to read.  How many of you are published, where
can I find your works?  I am looking forward to getting to know you all.
