[stylist] Using JAWS and vision on computer

Would it not be best to learn to use JAWS on the internet then? I was a
partial before losing the rest of my vision, so I know what it is like,
and I preferred to use JAWS most the time since I was able to navigate
the computer quicker with it than my sight. Yes, you will have a
learning curve, but if you use it consistently, it doesn't take long.
Within two months, I was efficient enough with JAWS to navigate the
internet with JAWS. And of course, with only light perception, I only
use JAWS now, and personally, if I ever got vision back, I would still
use JAWS for a lot of things just because of all the visual distractions
on the computer especially websites, grin!

Sincerely,

Hi Eve,
Yes, it was me who had it wrong when I said that to you. Later, I
realized I
had said it backwards.

I had wanted Magic initially because I could see it better - I like the
look
of the font better with Magic. And, of course, I like the word, Magic!

I have ZoomText and JAWS (I do not use JAWS often, just for messges that
are
too long for me to deal with visually.) This is what the counselor set
me up
with and at the time I knew next to nothing about them.

I do not know how to use JAWS on the internet at all.
I have to do that visually, and it takes me awhile to do it and it can
be
exhausting. Somehow I do get it done.
