Donna,

Well, I use to be a partial as well so if you offended anyone, I guess
that should include us as well, smile!

Sincerely,

Bridgit,
I have noticed that low vision friends of mine, whether they are still
trying to read regular print or have screen magnification, do tend to
make more errors in general than screen reader users. I think this is
because -- and I say this as a former partial -- it is so difficult to
read, that double-checking things like e-mail, which are so frequently
inconsequential, just falls by the wayside. It's easy to forget that
Spell Check doesn't pick up improper usage. Also, I think people who
routinely use Jaws or Window Eyes at an elevated speed may be re reading
their work and still missing errors. The speed causes them to miss the
subtle nuances of pronunciation, which are clues to some errors. Now
that I've thoroughly offended everyone, I'll re read this and do Spell
Check -- fully expecting that I'll get something wrong anyway. *grin*
Donna
