I am having some conversations on "intuition" with several people, artists and physicians, currently It is such an exciting thing to consider.

One friend who is a color master wrote this to me recently.
"And... intuition...comes from that unconscious part of the wonderful brain God gave you! Memories, experiences and so much more that is stored up and magically comes out if we get our rational side of the brain to stand back and quit editing everything little thing." SueAnne B. Hoyt

And, from a pathologist friend, who has lost his eyesight due to the same thing that took mine (Ischemic Optic Neuropathy) is this nugget of thought. " Intuition is at the heart of all creativity... This applies not only to art, but also to the great insights in science and mathematics. It's too bad it is so hard for some people to access." Dr. Rodney Allan Roe

Intuition is not inspiration and not at all talent. and not intelligence. It is not limited, but freely given to all of life. It is something beyond those things. It is an essence, a divine essence I believe, at our core, at our animal instinctual level deep within the brain perhaps, or throughout the entire body. I would say, it is in every cell of the entire body. To me, it would be the very soul of the being. It is the thing that comes through, a Zeit Geist, the spirit of the age embedded in humanity. It is found in the work of individuals of all walks of life, all professions. It is boundless and limitless and is there in all creatures, yet only a few will find it. As Dr. Roe said, "it is too bad
is is so hard for some people to access."

I have to look into the work of Dr. Bernard Freydberg, as I know he has written extensively on intuition and imagination from the ancients to the contemporary philosophers. I think I will gain more insight into this through a study of his books. Have to see if they are available on tape...hmmmmm. Will check into that!

Have a great day everyone, this is a super busy one for me - lots of running about to be done! Cheers!
