Lynda,
I read her bio on the website you provided. Among her awards was one I
believe called a "genius" award. Remarkable. I did not know they had such
things. But it made me want to read her books.
Jackie

Jackie, the book just ignited my fire - the classics (the ancients) are so
thrilling to me. The Classical Greek period is so powerful in art and
literature and I enter into it and never want to turn around to leave. It
stays with me and captures my thoughts like nothing else can do. The
Classical Greeks set the standard.

My daughter had a course in Greek Mythology in college and it really rocked
her world - turned her mind upside down. She was frustrated, and confused,
at first encounters, but then, she "got it." One is never the same person
after such encounters and it never disappoints me. This author truly is
remarkable and I cannot wait to get MORE of her books to read. I ask myself,

where have I been that I had never read anything of hers until now? But now
is perfect.
Lynda
