[stylist] writing prompts

I too have written some short stories that have come from prompts In each
case, my stories have turned out well. In addition,  it can work to get the
ideas flowing and the result may be an overflow.

Eve -- I absolutely agree with you on the value of writing prompts. At least

half of the 50 or so short stories in my 'story' folder were the results of 
writing prompts. Are they all great? Absolutely not. But they pushed me to 
pursue story lines I might not have if not for the prompt, and when you do 
that, you might be surprised at how many gems shake out.
