Happy news!

 

Ross Pollpeter writes to share the happy news that Baby P. is finally here.
Join me in congratulating the Pollpeter family.

 

Meet Declan Ross Pollpeter

 

Declan is from an Irish saint who preceded St. Patrick to bring Christianity
to Ireland.

 

8 pounds 12 ounces

 

20 inches long

Ross says "he has lots of dark hair. He has Bridgit's nose and my chin and
forehead. My mom swears he looks just like I did when I was born. He's been
in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, because his breathing hasn't been that
great, which is common for C-Section babies. The doctors are ensuring he
does not have any infections or other problems. Until he's a little more
stable, he'll stay in the NICU. Bridgit and I haven't had a chance to hold
him, but we can go see him. He's in what I like to call an aquarium, but
it's an incubator. Bridgit is doing fine; she's not having any noticeable
pain but just some discomfort. She feels fine, but she's anxious to be with
him. We're not wanting any visitors for the time being, except for immediate
family of course."

 

Hugs and congrats to the Pollpeter family. Lets keep them in our prayers so
they can all be home together soon!
