[stylist] A quick book update

Hi Friends,
Well, the manuscript has been uploaded to Create Space. After deciding to
let them format the interior, I spruced up the manuscript with smart quotes
and em dashes and re read it one last time over the weekend. I actually
found several things to change.
 
Anyway, we've seen proofs of the cover and hope to have the completed cover
PDF to upload later this week. I think realistically we're looking at the
end of May or early June.
 
I contacted Bookshare and they sent me a release form -- standard practice
for them, even though legally they don't need permission. I was hoping to
get the Bookshare version out concurrent with the print and Kindle versions,
but I don't think Create Space will give me a formatted RTF of the interior
-- God forbid I should take it to another printer. If they won't give it to
me or send it directly to Bookshare, I'll have to wait till I can send them
a print copy.
 
Anyway, I have a design phone conference coming up probably next week with
the folks who are laying out the interior. After that, maybe Rich and I can
get away for a while. He'll have to select from their design options and
approve the final thing, but we really need to get some R & R.
