Hey you all – the information in this message comes from a tech support
staffer who I use to work with at the Nebraska Commission for the Blind.
Looks like Microsoft is open to giving tech support to the blind via phone
or email. So ah, could be that some of our questions about MS could be
answered by MS itself!

All Staff and Friends,

Attached is a communiqué forwarded by Curtis Chong, President of the NFB in
Computer Science. It announces that effective February 1, 2013, the Support
Desk for People with Disabilities and/or Assistive Technologies is available
in North America. This support is only for English speakers for the time
being, and for Microsoft products such as operating systems and Microsoft
software such as Office and Narrator. According to Mr. Chong, you should
not expect Microsoft to provide in-depth support for programs such as
Window-Eyes, System Access, NVDA, or JAWS.
