Mary-Jo,
How are you accessing the Kindle books? Are you using the Kindle itself or
the Kindle for PC? Just curious, because I downloaded Kindle for PC with
accessibility for my own book and then bought Jerry Whittle's Standing with
Better Angels. The screen reader is weird, a bit halting -- sometimes
sentences seem to run into each other when it would seem like it has to be a
new paragraph, and there doesn't seem to be a way to spell things. I just
uploaded a new version of my novel The Heart of Applebutter Hill this
weekend, and I was trying to verify that the change went through -- it was
just two words that were capitalized and shouldn't have been. I'll have to
try the online preview to see if I can find out there.

Very cool. I'm going to see if the publisher takes PayPal. If not I'll see
if it is a better deal to order from her or Amazon. I was hoping the kindle
book would be out by now.

the one about my Mother was written 13 years ago, but then I revisited it
and made some better changes in it this past year.
The other one, was just written in the last year and really reflects how I
write and think now. I am pleased that they chose anything of mine at all,
and glad to be included in this book with so many other really good writers.

Can't wait for my copies to arrive - buying some for friends and family
members for gifts, and a couple for me - and one will go to the National
Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, DC to be included in the archives
of my career which is there in their archives dept.  Lynda
