[stylist] quiet

Sounds busy. I wish you luck.
Does anyone here have Stargarts or know more about it? I had a good
friend with Stargarts, and he told me it happens quickly but then stops.
So you lose vision rapidly in a short amount of time but then it stops
and you don't lose more. And it affects the central vision. My friend
had 20/20 except for his central vision. But are there different types
like RP, or did I misunderstand the condition?

Thanks, Mary Jo. I will do that. This is an enormous project for two
blind
artists/writers to tackle.
My partner in the project is a gallery owner, and a painter, and has had
continual sight loss due to Stargardts Disease.
Our target date for the opening of the first venue will be set the end
of
July - after that, we can then move on to begin the process of lining up
the
remaining venues where the show will travel to over a two year period.
Not
only are we creating all the work for the show; we are working with a
videographer and a photographer to do the photos for the book and the
video
for the exhibition. I will doing the fund raising for the project and
will
be writing all the text for the book and together we will both be doing
all
the promos and scheduling. You can imagine, this is on my plate every
day
for the next 3 years. We'll have the book ready for the opening show in
the
spring, so that gallery visitors can purchase it at the opening
receptions
and during the run of the show in each gallery and museum. My rule of
thumb
has always been 'If the dream is too big, it is just right." This one
is
REALLY too big. l o l
