Lynda, I am with Jackie here...You have inspired me to perhaps do another.
Fine work!

Lynda,
I liked your Pantoum. While it does not reflect Arizona weather, it took me
back with its imagery and the repetitive quality of the form.
While I have written several pantoums, my problem is that I never know when
one is finished. It does not give a line limit, and so seems easy to go on
too far. Your sequence may have inspired me to try again.
Thanks for sharing.
Jackie

Here is a PANTOUM poem I wrote some time ago. It was written as a response
to the poet/author Jeff O'Brien in a conversation we were having via
e-mail.
If you live in a place, as I do, where the seasons are distinct and clearly
defined, you will definitely feel what I am describing here, as our winter
is beginning the difficult merge into spring - and how it affects us all.
We just returned from our annual March visit to Puerto Rico. In a five
hour
flight, we went from warm sunshine and balmy breezes, to freezing
temperatures and snow covered landscape.
