[stylist] Bard

I'm not sure. When the push for digital books became popular, the
National Library Service started digitizing books. They created BARD,
which is digital books that can play on most MP-3 players. Recently,
they added Braille, and I believe it's downloadable Braille you can read
on devices like a note taker or Braille display. I'm not as familiar
with the Braille portion. If by web-Braille you mean computer Braille,
the code developed specifically for computers and online reading, then
I'm not sure. I think it's just regular Braille available in a format to
be read on compatible devices as mentioned before.

Is Bard the same as web-braille?

Fortunately, I have near 50 books or so on my Victor at one time,
but
still, I can't believe BARD was down because of this stupid
government
shut-down, which BTW, seems illegal to me. I personally know
people out
of work, and of course I haven't been able to get my BARD fix,
grin.

Happy reading, finally.

Thanks, Atty. I'm going to download 30 or 40 books, just in case
the
skilletheads don't come to their senses anytime soon.

 info.
I just went there day before yesterday on a unch.
