[stylist] Good books

Thanks for sharing. I'll have to try out the "Death Gate" series. I did not see the other book on BARD.

I am currently reading the fourth book in Kevin Hearne's "Iron Druid" series. One of those urban fantasy series with everything but the magical kitchen sink. Good mix of fun, action, and humor. Highly reccomended.

I will soon start the second book in C. J. Cherryh's "Chanur" series. This is more of a hard SF series with aliens that are truly alien. Again, highly recommended.

I'm also working my way through (and this is the correct phrase for the experience) the collected stories of J. G. Ballard. Some of this is good, but a lot of his stories leave me missing the point of it all. Given that this book is 1,200 pages long, I go at it in stages between other books.

Wishing you good reading.

Shawn

Hi all,

I'm re-reading the Death Gate Cycle, Margret Weis and Tracy Hickman and I'm enjoying the heck out of them.

If you love fantasy, you will most likely enjoy these authors.

I'm on book 4.

I would also like to mention NOS4R2 by Joe Hill. I've read his stuff and this one is such an excellent book. It's definately horror, sort of that modern urban horror stuff. Kind of what I like to write.

Peace and prosperity,
Atty
