Absolutely!  Selling one's writing isn't for the faint hearted.

Most talent arenas require new talent to have an agent, whether it be
writing, acting, dancing or music. It makes things difficult because
most agents want established talent, but generally you need an agent to
get established. It's a catch-22.

Thanks for the heads-up about your work on BARD. I can't wait to read
them. My understanding is that nowadays, unpublished writers have to
have an agent to approach the major publishers. I wonder if you got in
before the change, or if I've been misinformed. Donna

I went through the publishers.  I'd love to have an agent, but never
have. Both books have blindness themes, and now are available on BARD if
anybody would be interested in reading them.
