Vejas,

Yes, it's a beloved book by Goldman who wrote it all himself, smile. The
book and film are classics.

The memoir I just read details Cary Elwes's, who played Westley, experience
working on the film. It recounts never before heard stories, and what it was
like on set. It's charming and very funny. Other cast and crew provided
quotes about their experience that are placed in between chapters. I really
enjoyed the book.

Hi,
I read The Princess Bride for a book report in sixth grade and really
enjoyed it. William Goldman is a great writer.
I remember finding the introduction really interesting. It basically said
that the book was written by somebody named S. S.
Morgenstern, and he revised it to shorten it. I thought at first that this
was real, but my parents told me that it wasn't actually true and that
Goldman created the whole work.

Finished Misty Copeland's My Life in Motion, and it was really good. You
don't have to be a dancer to appreciate this book or Misty's story.

Now reading As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales from the Making of the Princess
Bride, written by Cary Elwes, who also played Westley/Dread Pirate Roberts
in the film. This is a memoir about Elwes experience filming the
pop-culture classic. So far, this book is witty, interesting and fun, and
several parts have made me laugh out loud. Whether a fan of the film or not
(and really, who isn't?) you should check this out. And if you haven't seen
the film, by god, get out from underneath your rock and see the damn film,
LOL! Have fun storming the castle, grin.
