Or for cooking. I make shredded turkey, and the only ingredients are 3 to 4
lbs. of turkey breast, a stick of butter, dry onion soup mix (I make my own
home-made dry onion soup mix) and a bottle of dark beer. Place all
ingredients into large crockpot and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours. It's
delicious, moist and a hit with everyone.

I cannot resist chiming in on the beer thing. The only time I had resorted
to drinking beer was when I was young and either playing quarters and
losing, or when I made my famous beer punch. It is one can of beer, one can
of frozen lemonade concentrate, and then use that lemonade can to measure a
full can of vodka. Blend well. It tastes like lemonade and kicks you on your
butt.
hahaha
Sersiously, I do not even drink now a days.
Beer does have a greater purpose though. It is a fantastic clarifier for
washing your hair.
