[stylist] curious-would this be too confusing?

I don't know. I think it is kind of an interesting concept. It is not
something commonly done of course, but I would not go so far as to say it
has never been done. Even The Walking Dead is something like that. The
novel is by the Governor, the comics are from the POV of Rick and the TV
show is the story that follows all of the characters.
If you do it well, it could be a real hit. And remember, there will always
be people who get confused over something. Play to your creativity and
someone will be pleased. You cannot please everyone though, so don't try.
