[stylist] Cursor and JAWS and emails

Spelling mistakes are another issue altogether. It's so easy to
just write and write and forget about spelling.
My stupidest spelling mistake was just yesterday, when I was
writing something important but instead of writing "suits", I
wrote "schits" because in Braille the u is dots 1-3-6 and the ch
contraction is dots 1-6, so I forgot the 3.
Really bad as I can really think of one way to pronounce it that
makes sense!
Any other silly/embarrassing spelling mistakes you have done or
seen?

I can't explain why or give a technical answer, but sometimes
JAWS and the
cursor do act wonky. I've not had this problem with MS Office,
but when on
the internet, including using the email servor directly (I
usually use
Outlook) the cursor moves around when I'm using JAWS. It doesn't
happen
frequently but it does happen. As Chris advises, read through
what you write
before sending, grin.

Chris, Mine has been doing the same thing, you described it quite
well. I
have had this issue in the past and then it has gotten better.
We have never
found the reason though. My tech people blame it on Freedom
Scientific. I
cannot just accept that without some type of justification for
the diagnosis
or knowing that it is actually a common ailment. You are the
first I have
ever heard of who is experiencing this also. If you ever do find
the true
cause, or a way to fix it, please let me know.

Sorry--my computer has been doing that on me lately--the cursor
just
jumping around in my email as I type, hence the end of my
message
ended up more towards the beginning. Note to self--read your
emails
before hitting send.
