[stylist] Back to Writing? Obituaries?

Hi Jackie,

I enjoyed your poems, and your fake obituary very much. My wish, after the
final day comes, is also for my family to walk deep into the woods of
Vermont, where people and industrialization isn't likely to happen for more
than another century or two, dig a big hole and put my ashes in it, along
with a small maple tree, so I can become a part of that tree as it grows.

I've never written my own obit, although I'm currently re-reading 'The Seven
Habits of Highly Effective People', and one of the first exercises is to
write your own obituary--the one you want people to read--to help you focus
on what is really important in your life.

Mine would be simple. I want the cause of death to be that I was hit by a
bus (quick--no drawn out illness for me) or died when his parachute didn't
open while sky diving (exciting), or had a heart attack during sex--although
that might be horribly traumatic for my poor wife.He was a good husband, a
good father, a loving son and sibling, a published writer (technically, it's
true) and someone who always helped those around him.

Chris
